Total Demolition
The total demolition of today has moved on since the ball and crane days when every site had a fire and hoardings were made from doors and corrugated sheets, all total demolition contracts are considered by Reliance Demolition ranging from small houses to high rise buildings. Over the years we have demolished some notable and famous buildings such as the Oxford Castle Prison Project (a 2 year project), the Big Brother House in BBC Elstree also HMP Pentonville Prison (a 15 month project).
Before demolition on each site commences we ensure careful planning is under taken and the correct paper work must always be in place i.e. RAMS, COSHH and H & S Policy and notification to local authorities. We currently run a fleet of Volvo excavators ranging from 1.5 tonne up to 45 tonne with a selection of attachments to make the job safer, quicker and of course easier, onsite crushing of the hard core material is sometimes carried out depending on the clients preference, or the materials will be cleared away by using 8 wheel tipper lorries so the site can be left clean for the next contractor
